Smart Water Metering
We helped Tamil Nadu Water Supply & Drainage Board (TWAD Board) to smartly monitor water distribution in an entire Continuous Water Supply Scheme (CWSS) distribution tree on a single screen. The solution helps the board personnel to view instantaneous water flow throughout the network and spot leakage. A mobile and web application suite helps quantify cumulative water supplied to each individual outlet in the CWSS and attend to insufficient supply and leakages instantaneously. A different application of the same solution was deployed in the gated community villas built by Isha Homes to quantify and bill water supply to the villas.

IIoT Gateways for Industry 4.0
Our standard gateways found an apt application in AUM Systems’ and Paragon’s automation needs. AUM systems’ flow metering and instrumentation needs engage our IIoT gateways to assert data from various protocols like MODBUS, TTL, 4-20 mA and bring the same online into IoT dashboards for monitoring and control. Paragon’s thermal monitoring and control solution is completed using our IIoT gateways that monitor individual die temperatures and stop the conveyor if the temperature is not within the threshold prescribed. This otherwise manual process is now automated and the cause for non maintenance of temperatures is correlated with data from other machinery in the manufacturing process.

IoT in Jewellery Manufacturing
We helped TITAN Jewellery automate and supervise the dispatch sorting process using IoT. RFID IoT nodes were installed alongside a robotic conveyor that dispatches finished products. The Trays alongside the conveyor belt with RFID labels receive a portion of the dispatch in each of them. Each IoT node with RFID reader identifies the proximity tray and transmits the information to a central server for information on placement of the tray and contents in it.

Automated Smart Stoves
Agnisumukh’s novel patented cooking stoves just got smarter and automated using our IoT and automation gateways. The gateways allow algorithmic control of flame and heat of the stoves. Each stove made for specific cuisine is automated using special algorithms evolved by studying Agnisumukh’s IP protected flaming procedure. The gateways connect the stoves to a web dashboard for insights and analytics on flammable fuel consumed / conserved as a result of the automation system.

Smart Workforce Management
We helped Salem & Thoothukudi City Municipal Corporations assert their distributed field force attendance and view instantaneous statistical reports on attendance. A closely linked payroll management solution allowed the local administration to generate pay slips for a large number of employees in a few mouse clicks. The solution involves IoT enabled biometric attendance recorders to capture attendance punches and a web + mobile app suite to monitor daily attendance and generate bulk payslips.

We helped TITAN Watches’ R&D team build electronics for analog smartwatches consisting of an accelerometer and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) chip. The project involved development of thin and miniature Printed Circuit Boards for watches, firmware for the BLE chipset and mobile app for connecting with the smart watch. The PCBs could mate with lavet motors and the BLE chipset could drive the hands of the watch dial to achieve multi functional indications including time and pedometer.
